Children's Choir
Junior Choir is open to children, 4-years-old through 5th grade. Music is one of the best ways children can learn about God and begin their faith formation. We meet on Sundays from 9:00 to 9:15 A.M. in the sanctuary.

Senior Choir
Senior Choir is open to anyone from 9th grade through 90+ who enjoys singing! Choir meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. in the Davis Room. It may seem as though the loft is full on Sunday mornings, but there is always room for one more. Even if you are a "winter bird" and fly south, or you have a commitment on certain weekends, the choir is open to anyone at any time. Deb asks that singers keep up with rehearsals despite occasional absences and that they notify her of times when they won't be with the group, noting that there is always a way to make it work.
Hand Bell Choir
Hand Bell Choir rehearses from 8:15 to 9:00 A.M., on Sunday mornings in the Davis Room. It is helpful if ringers have some knowledge of reading music, but we can pull you a long if you would like to try it regardless of your musical knowledge!

Joint Cantata: "our father"

Deb Hollen, Trinity's choir director, and her daughter Dani Kardisco, choir director of Central Presbyterian Church in Chambersburg, teamed up to bring a special musical event to the Waynesboro-Chambersburg area on Sunday, June 5, 2016. The cantata, "Our Father: A Journey Through the Lord's Prayer" by Pepper Choplin, combined the choirs of Trinity and Central on the Square to perform this meditation on and celebration of "The Lord's Prayer" through music. The cantata included a semi-professional orchestra in accompaniment, and was being presented at Trinity at 2 P.M. and again at 7 P.M. at Central on the Square.

Here is the audio from the Trinity's 2 PM concert for those who weren't able to be with us and for those who'd like to listen in to hear it again. It begins with a 15 minute organ prelude and includes all the musical selections from the cantata as well as a time of communion, including a congregational singing of the hymn "When in Our Music God is Glorified."

At Trinity, we are blessed by the time, energy, and talent which is poured into the music ministry by director Deb Hollen, organist Carol Ann Day, and the many musicians who give of their time and talent each week.  Check out what we have to offer and if you think you might like to join in on the fun and fellowship of one, (or a few), of these groups, just look for Deb and and let her know.  For more information, you can also contact our church office by phone or email!
